One Hundred Black Men of Long Island Inc.

The 100 Black Men of Long Island, Inc. seeks to serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing our diverse talents to create an environment where our children are motivated to achieve and to empower our people to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of the communities we serve.

With a mission to improve the quality of life of our citizens and enhance educational opportunities for African- Americans, our members continue to serve as a strong force for overcoming cultural and financial obstacles, the achievements of African-American youth, emphasizing young African-American males.

The Long Island Chapter is engaged in a targeted effort to provide holistic support for youth we serve and their families. Our hope is to improve the chances of success for young Black Men by encouraging them towards success in the educational process, sharing with them our collective life's experience, imparting to them a system of values and ethics, and exposing them to the world beyond their immediate communities.
